Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 August 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use moonmoments.co.uk or buy a product from MoonMoments.co.uk, trading as Moon Moments. You can contact us at contact@moonmoments.co.uk.

MoonMoments.co.uk, 13 The Groves, Bristol, BS13 0AF is our postal address for formal notices and consumer information.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including your rights when goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

2. Our products

Moon Moments creates personalised moon phase prints, personalised star maps, digital artwork, physical prints, and related keepsakes. The available product, format, size, personalisation options, and total price are shown before you pay.

The “Moon Mile” or “Moon Plot Register” product is a novelty commemorative keepsake. It does not transfer legal ownership, title, rights, or an enforceable interest in land on the Moon or any celestial body. Any plot reference, coordinates, certificate, or map supplied is for presentation and gifting only.

Artwork is generated from the date, time, location, names, message, and other information you provide. Please check spelling, dates, locations, and email addresses carefully before paying. We are not responsible for errors in customer-supplied information, although we will try to help where possible.

Colours can vary between screens, printers, and paper. Product photographs and previews are illustrative; the finished artwork will reflect the options and personalisation confirmed with your order.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The total price, including applicable taxes and delivery charges, is shown before you submit payment. Delivery charges are currently free for UK mainland physical orders, £2.99 for supported non-mainland UK destinations, and £4.99 for supported European destinations. Digital artwork is delivered electronically and has no physical delivery charge.

Payment is processed through Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. An order is not accepted until payment has been authorised and we have sent an order confirmation email, or otherwise confirmed acceptance.

4. Orders and delivery

After payment, we save the order and begin preparing the artwork. Digital artwork is sent by a secure download link to the email address supplied at checkout. Physical artwork is normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days and will be delivered to the address and country selected at checkout. Unless a different period is agreed with you, physical goods will be delivered within 30 days.

We currently ship physical products only to the destinations offered at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. If a parcel is delayed, damaged, or appears lost, contact us promptly so we can investigate with the delivery provider.

For deliveries outside the UK, you are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, or destination-country taxes that are imposed after dispatch, unless the checkout expressly says otherwise.

5. Cancellation, returns, and refunds

Personalised products are made to your specifications. Where the law allows, the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to personalised or custom-made goods once production has started. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or does not do what it is supposed to do.

If a physical item is faulty or damaged, email us at contact@moonmoments.co.uk with your order number, a description of the problem, and photographs where useful. We will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by law, which may include a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.

For digital content, you ask us to begin supplying the download promptly after payment. Where you have given the required consent and acknowledgement before supply begins, you may lose the statutory 14-day cancellation right once the download starts. Your rights relating to defective or misdescribed digital content remain unchanged.

If a cancellation right applies to your order, contact us clearly by email before the relevant deadline. You may use the following wording, although you do not have to use this form:

To MoonMoments.co.uk, 13 The Groves, Bristol, BS13 0AF: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the sale of the following goods/digital content: [description]. Ordered on: [date]. Order number: [number]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Email: [email]. Date: [date].

Where a refund is due, we will issue it using the original payment method unless we agree another method with you. This section does not remove any mandatory consumer remedy.

6. Customer content

You confirm that you have permission to provide any names, messages, photographs, or other content submitted to us and that using it to make your order will not infringe another person’s rights. Do not submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, or infringing material. We may decline an order containing such material and will contact you about an appropriate refund or alternative where required.

7. Website use

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary.

Our website content, branding, layouts, and software belong to Moon Moments or our licensors. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit it without permission.

8. Liability

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Complaints and governing law

Please contact contact@moonmoments.co.uk first if something goes wrong so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, unless the mandatory consumer law of another part of the UK applies to you. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have to bring proceedings elsewhere.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed when you place an order applies to that order. The “Last updated” date above shows when this page was most recently revised.
